Refund policy
When EasyData refunds credits, when it does not, and how to ask.
Effective 20 September 2026 Privacy policy
On this page
EasyData is the data enrichment API at easydata.win, together with the console and the documentation site that go with it. In this document "we", "us" and "EasyData" mean the operator of that service, reachable at [email protected], and "the service" means the API, the console and this site together.
The short version: unspent credits come back within 14 days, no reason needed. Credits you already spent do not, because the work was done and paid for upstream. A lookup that returned nothing was never charged in the first place, so there is nothing there to refund.
What you are buying #
Credits, prepaid, in packs. One credit is one request we make to LinkedIn on your behalf. Credits do not expire, there is no subscription, no renewal date and no overage charge - when they run out, the API refuses new work until you buy more, and nothing is charged in the meantime.
Unspent credits: 14 days, no reason needed #
Ask within 14 days of a purchase and we refund the credits from it that you have not spent, in full and without asking why. If you spent some of the pack, the unspent part is still refundable on the same terms - we work out what is left and return that share of what you paid.
Spent credits are not refundable #
A spent credit bought a request we already made and already paid for. Once a record has been delivered to you it cannot be returned, so it is not refunded. This is the only category we decline, and it is the reason the rest of this policy can be generous.
A failure is never a spent credit. An item that returned no record is billed at zero and the result says so, so you are never in the position of asking for money back for data you did not receive.
When we refund beyond 14 days #
- We withdraw an operation you are calling, or make a breaking change to a response shape. Your unspent credits are refundable in full, whenever that happens.
- We change these terms materially and you tell us before the change takes effect that you do not accept it.
- We terminate your account without cause. Everything unspent comes back.
- We got it wrong - a fault on our side charged you for something you did not get. Tell us and we correct it, whether or not 14 days have passed.
How to ask #
Email [email protected] with the account and the invoice number.
A refund is returned to the account the payment came from. How long it takes to land is your bank's, not ours.
Chargebacks #
If you dispute a charge with your bank rather than asking us, the credits it bought are taken back off the account, including any already spent - which can leave the balance below zero. We would much rather you emailed us first: we have never refused an unspent-credit refund inside the window, and a dispute costs us both more than it is worth.
Consumer rights #
EasyData is sold to businesses. Where you buy as a consumer and the law where you live gives you a statutory right to cancel or to a refund, that right applies on top of this policy and nothing here reduces it.
Contact #
Refunds and anything commercial go to [email protected]. Contract questions go to [email protected], and anything about personal data to [email protected].
